Tuttavia, solo due anni pi\u00f9 tardi, frate Luke Ward insieme ai suoi confratelli irlandesi, in fuga dalle persecuzioni religiose nel loro paese d&#8217;origine, prese possesso della chiesa, convertendo gli edifici adiacenti in un collegio ancora oggi gestito dalla loro comunit\u00e0.
